The Air Bleed Assembly, Clean & Clear 520 Sq Ft is an aftermarket air relief valve built to replace the original component in Pentair filter tanks. In service it purges trapped air from the top of the filter tank so the vessel fills completely with water. Replacement is routine: the stem seizes and the seal leaks, which is both a nuisance drip and a safety concern on a pressure vessel.
