Auto Air Relief Tube for Star-Clear II & Star-Clear Plus Cartridge Filter — an aftermarket filter cartridge dimensioned to drop into Hayward filter tanks without modification. In service it traps suspended particles as water passes through the pleated media. Replacement is routine: the pleats collapse and the media loses porosity, so pressure climbs and cycles between cleanings get shorter. Ours is built with reinforced polyester media and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
