Product overview

This lateral / center pipe is a compatible replacement for the Hayward original, supplied as the Lateral Assembly with Center Pipe for Sand Filter. In service it collects filtered water from the bottom of the sand bed while holding the sand back. It is a wear item: the slots widen or the arms snap, which sends sand into the pool. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic.
