D.E. Filter Grid Element Set — an aftermarket filter grid / DE element dimensioned to drop into Hayward filtration systems without modification. In service it provides the surface that holds the diatomaceous earth cake doing the actual filtering. It is a wear item: the fabric tears and the manifold sockets split, which sends DE powder back into the pool. Ours is built with polypropylene fabric on a rigid frame. Packed 7050 g per piece.
