The Filter Bump Handle for EC-40 is an aftermarket valve handle / key built to replace the original component in Hayward filtration systems. In service it gives the operator positive control of the valve position and holds it there. Replacement is routine: the splines and detents round off from repeated force, so the handle turns without moving the valve.
