The Pump Trap Cover for Sta-Rite Inground Pumps, 7.25-Inch is an aftermarket pump lid / trap cover built to replace the original component in Sta-Rite circulation pumps. In service it seals the strainer pot and lets the operator see and clear the basket without breaking plumbing. This is a consumable in practice: the clear plastic crazes and clouds with chemical exposure, and the sealing surface distorts so the pump loses prime. Ours is molded in clear polycarbonate and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
