The Pump Trap Cover for Sta-Rite Inground Pumps, 7.25-Inch is an aftermarket pump lid / trap cover built to replace the original component in Sta-Rite circulation pumps. In service it seals the strainer pot and lets the operator see and clear the basket without breaking plumbing. This is a consumable in practice: the clear plastic crazes and clouds with chemical exposure, and the sealing surface distorts so the pump loses prime. Ours is molded in clear polycarbonate.
