Product overview

C-8350 is an aftermarket pleated hot tub filter cartridge, 8-1/2 in. in diameter and 7-1/4 in. long, with 50 sq ft of filter area. Top: open (1-9/10" ID). Bottom: open w/ slots (2-3/8" ID).

It interchanges with Pleatco PVT50W, Pleatco PVT50W-XF2L, Filbur FC-3053.

Pleatco lists PVT50W-XF2L as discontinued in its 2025-26 catalog. This cartridge keeps the original 8-1/2 x 7-1/4 in. size, so it drops into the same filter housing.

OEM cartridges it replaces: Vita Spas PVT 50W.

Fitment notes: Vita Spas: Unicel replacement requires injection molded knob handle (not furnished).

Before ordering, measure the old cartridge — overall length, outside diameter and both end fittings. Some catalogs quote the length of threaded top-load cartridges with the thread and some without, so a quarter-inch difference between listings is common.
