Product overview

C-4950 is an aftermarket pleated hot tub filter cartridge, 4-15/16 in. in diameter and 13-5/16 in. long, with 50 sq ft of filter area. Top: open (2-1/8" ID). Bottom: open (2-1/8" ID). Center opening: 2-1/8 in.

It interchanges with Pleatco PRB50-IN and Filbur FC-2390.

Pleatco lists PRB50-IN as discontinued in its 2025-26 catalog and names ULTRA-S5 as the successor. This cartridge keeps the original 4-15/16 x 13-5/16 in. size, so it drops into the same filter housing.

OEM cartridges it replaces: Aber Hot Tubs 03FIL1600; Beachcomber 3005815; Caldera 302005, 73533, 76076; Coleman 100533, 3301-2145; CMP 25391, 25393; Jacuzzi 373045; Maax Spas of AZ 100533; Orca Bay Spas 5001.

Fitment notes: 50 sq.ft. C-4950 is an upgrade to 25 sq.ft. C-4326 and C-4625 cartridges. Freedom Spas: Model dated after 1993. Icon Spas: Used in most 2003 to present Image and Weslo spa models. Rising Dragon: Also replaces depth filtration cartridge.

Before ordering, measure the old cartridge — overall length, outside diameter and both end fittings. Some catalogs quote the length of threaded top-load cartridges with the thread and some without, so a quarter-inch difference between listings is common. We supply spa service companies, dealers and online retailers: MOQ 50 pcs per part, mixed cartons welcome, and single samples to confirm fit before a production order.
