Product overview

C-7466 is an aftermarket pleated hot tub filter cartridge, 7-1/2 in. in diameter and 14-3/4 in. long, with 65 sq ft of filter area. Top: castle. Bottom: open (2-5/8" ID). Center opening: 2-5/8 in.

It interchanges with Pleatco PSD65-2 and Filbur FC-2740.

Pleatco lists PSD65-2 as discontinued in its 2025-26 catalog. This cartridge keeps the original 7-1/2 x 14-3/4 in. size, so it drops into the same filter housing.

OEM cartridges it replaces: Sundance 6540-481.

Fitment notes: 2-5/8" bottom id for 2" system. Unicel part replaces both 7-1/2" and 8" OD Sundance cartridges.

Before ordering, measure the old cartridge — overall length, outside diameter and both end fittings. Some catalogs quote the length of threaded top-load cartridges with the thread and some without, so a quarter-inch difference between listings is common.
