Product overview

C-4995 is an aftermarket pleated hot tub filter cartridge, 4-15/16 in. in diameter and 23-5/8 in. long, with 95 sq ft of filter area. Top: open (2-1/8" ID). Bottom: open (2-1/8" ID). Center opening: 2-1/8 in.

It interchanges with Pleatco PCAL100 and Filbur FC-2940.

Pleatco lists PCAL100 as discontinued in its 2025-26 catalog. This cartridge keeps the original 4-15/16 x 23-5/8 in. size, so it drops into the same filter housing.

OEM cartridges it replaces: Waterway 817-1000.

Before ordering, measure the old cartridge — overall length, outside diameter and both end fittings. Some catalogs quote the length of threaded top-load cartridges with the thread and some without, so a quarter-inch difference between listings is common.
