Air Bleed Assembly, Compatible with Hayward Super Star Clear C-2000 to C-5500 Filters — an aftermarket air relief valve dimensioned to drop into Sta-Rite filtration systems without modification. In service it purges trapped air from the top of the filter tank so the vessel fills completely with water. This is a consumable in practice: the stem seizes and the seal leaks, which is both a nuisance drip and a safety concern on a pressure vessel.
