This o-ring is a compatible replacement for the Sta-Rite original, supplied as the Tank O-Ring, 15-1/4-Inch ID, 3/8-Inch Cross Section, Compatible with Sta-Rite. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. Replacement is routine: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
