The Diffuser Screw for Dominator HH, Replacement for Val-Pak is an aftermarket diffuser built to replace the original component in Val-Pak circulation pumps. In service it converts the velocity leaving the impeller into pressure and directs flow into the discharge. It is a wear item: the sealing lip and locating tabs wear, letting water recirculate inside the pump instead of moving downstream. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic.
