Impeller, 1.5 HP, Replacement for Val-Pak — an aftermarket impeller dimensioned to drop into Val-Pak circulation pumps without modification. In service it accelerates water through the volute and generates the flow and head the pump is rated for. This is a consumable in practice: the vanes wear and the eye clogs with debris, which shows up as reduced flow and lower filter pressure. Ours is molded in glass-filled thermoplastic.
