Product overview
This pump basket is a compatible replacement for the Hayward original, supplied as the Strainer Basket for Super II Pump. In service it catches leaves and debris before they reach the impeller. This is a consumable in practice: the plastic becomes brittle from chlorine and sun exposure and the ribs crack, allowing debris straight into the pump. Ours is molded in reinforced polypropylene.
