Product overview
Strainer Cover with Lock Ring and O-Ring, Black — an aftermarket o-ring dimensioned to drop into Hayward circulation pumps without modification. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. It is a wear item: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
