Product overview

This pump lid / trap cover is a compatible replacement for the Hayward original, supplied as the Strainer Cover Kit for Max Flo II Pump. In service it seals the strainer pot and lets the operator see and clear the basket without breaking plumbing. It is a wear item: the clear plastic crazes and clouds with chemical exposure, and the sealing surface distorts so the pump loses prime. Ours is molded in clear polycarbonate.
