Product overview

This pump lid / trap cover is a compatible replacement for the Hayward original, supplied as the Strainer Cover Replacement Kit for Max-Flo Pool and Spa Pump. In service it seals the strainer pot and lets the operator see and clear the basket without breaking plumbing. This is a consumable in practice: the clear plastic crazes and clouds with chemical exposure, and the sealing surface distorts so the pump loses prime. Ours is molded in clear polycarbonate.
