The Pump Pipe Plug with Gasket (6-Pack) is an aftermarket gasket built to replace the original component in Hayward circulation pumps. In service it seals the joint between two housing faces and keeps the circuit pressure-tight. It is a wear item: the material compresses permanently and loses its rebound, so the joint begins to weep under pressure. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
