Product overview

The SuperPump Diffuser, Strainer Housing and Basket is an aftermarket diffuser built to replace the original component in Hayward circulation pumps. In service it converts the velocity leaving the impeller into pressure and directs flow into the discharge. It is a wear item: the sealing lip and locating tabs wear, letting water recirculate inside the pump instead of moving downstream. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
