This multiport valve is a compatible replacement for the Jandy original, supplied as the Top Mount Multiport Valve Kit, 1.5-Inch, Replacement for Jandy Sand Filters. In service it routes flow between filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate and closed positions from a single control. Replacement is routine: the key seal wears and the detent mechanism loses positive location, so positions no longer seal cleanly.
