The Draft Hood and Vent Cap Adapter Plate for 250,000 BTU Heater, Replacement for Teledyne Laars is an aftermarket union / fitting built to replace the original component in Teledyne Laars heating, sanitizing and lighting equipment. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. Replacement is routine: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
