Shaft Seal Assembly, 3/4-Inch Shaft, Compatible with Jandy JHP and JHPU Pumps — an aftermarket seal dimensioned to drop into U.S. Seal circulation pumps without modification. In service it keeps water out of the motor side of the pump while allowing the shaft to rotate. Replacement is routine: the sealing faces score and leak, which lets water reach the motor bearings — a failure that destroys the motor if left unattended.
