Product overview
This seal is a compatible replacement for the U.S. Seal original, supplied as the Pump Shaft Seal Assembly, Compatible with U.S. Seal PS201. In service it keeps water out of the motor side of the pump while allowing the shaft to rotate. This is a consumable in practice: the sealing faces score and leak, which lets water reach the motor bearings — a failure that destroys the motor if left unattended.
