PPC5 Salt Cell with Unions, Compatible with AutoPilot — an aftermarket union / fitting dimensioned to drop into AutoPilot heating, sanitizing and lighting equipment without modification. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. This is a consumable in practice: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic. This part is cross-referenced to 3 AutoPilot OEM numbers — AP-500, RC-15, CC-15 — so buyers working from a number stamped on a failed component can confirm the match before ordering.
