The V Clamp, Replacement for Sta-Rite is an aftermarket clamp built to replace the original component in Sta-Rite circulation pumps. In service it holds the two halves of the filter tank together against internal pressure. This is a consumable in practice: the band corrodes and the tensioning hardware seizes, which is a serious safety issue on a pressure vessel. Ours is made from stainless steel with reinforced hardware.
