The Pump Strainer Basket for Dura-Glas/Max-E-Glas is an aftermarket pump basket built to replace the original component in Pentair circulation pumps. In service it catches leaves and debris before they reach the impeller. This is a consumable in practice: the plastic becomes brittle from chlorine and sun exposure and the ribs crack, allowing debris straight into the pump. Ours is molded in reinforced polypropylene.
