The Manifold with O-Ring, Compatible with Purex (Pentair) CFM Series Filters is an aftermarket o-ring built to replace the original component in Purex (Pentair) filtration systems. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. It is a wear item: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
