This filter cartridge is a compatible replacement for the Jacuzzi original, supplied as the Tank Lid, Replacement for Jacuzzi Cartridge Filters. In service it traps suspended particles as water passes through the pleated media. This is a consumable in practice: the pleats collapse and the media loses porosity, so pressure climbs and cycles between cleanings get shorter. Ours is built with reinforced polyester media.
