The Standpipe Assembly with 8 Laterals for MFM15 Sand Filter is an aftermarket lateral / center pipe for filtration systems. In service it collects filtered water from the bottom of the sand bed while holding the sand back. Replacement is routine: the slots widen or the arms snap, which sends sand into the pool. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic.
