The Clamp Kit for Millenium Series Filters, Replacement for Astral is an aftermarket clamp built to replace the original component in Astral filtration systems. In service it holds the two halves of the filter tank together against internal pressure. It is a wear item: the band corrodes and the tensioning hardware seizes, which is a serious safety issue on a pressure vessel. Ours is made from stainless steel with reinforced hardware.
