The Multiport Valve, 1.5-Inch, for SM 3000, Compatible with Astral is an aftermarket multiport valve built to replace the original component in Astral filtration systems. In service it routes flow between filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate and closed positions from a single control. It is a wear item: the key seal wears and the detent mechanism loses positive location, so positions no longer seal cleanly.
