The Filter Tank Lid for CFM and SM/SMBW4060 Filters, Replacement for Pentair is an aftermarket tank / tank body built to replace the original component in Pentair filtration systems. In service it is the pressure vessel that contains the filter media and the working pressure of the system. Replacement is routine: the shell fatigues around fittings and mounting points after years of pressure cycling. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
