The Pool Filter Clamp for Intex 12 & 14 Inch Sand Filter Pump, with O-Ring & Screws is a multi-fit o-ring sized to the dimensions shared by several major American pool equipment brands. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. This is a consumable in practice: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
