This impeller is a compatible replacement for the Jacuzzi original, supplied as the Impeller, 1-1/2 HP Full Rated, 5-1/8-Inch, for Magnum Pumps. In service it accelerates water through the volute and generates the flow and head the pump is rated for. Replacement is routine: the vanes wear and the eye clogs with debris, which shows up as reduced flow and lower filter pressure. Ours is molded in glass-filled thermoplastic.
