This o-ring is a compatible replacement for the Baker Hydro original, supplied as the Bulkhead Fitting O-Ring for HRV Filters, Compatible with Baker Hydro. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. It is a wear item: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
