This multiport valve is a compatible replacement for the Astral original, supplied as the Sight Glass for Multiport Valves, Compatible with Astral. In service it routes flow between filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate and closed positions from a single control. It is a wear item: the key seal wears and the detent mechanism loses positive location, so positions no longer seal cleanly.
