What we collect

When you submit the quote form we collect the name, company, business email, country, part numbers, quantity and message you enter. That is the only personal information we ask for.

We also record the IP address and browser identifier used to submit the form. We use this only to detect and block automated spam and abuse of the form. It is not used to identify you, build a profile, or for any marketing purpose.

Our hosting provider separately records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors find useful. It sets cookies and sends usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) to Google. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage. We do not run advertising or remarketing tags, and we do not sell any data.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and keep a record of what was quoted so we can honour it later. That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is stored in our database and emailed to our sales team through a third-party email service. Those providers process the data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not share enquiries with other customers, suppliers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for 24 months so we can reference past quotations. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

The IP address and browser identifier attached to a submission are kept for 12 months and then deleted, as they are only needed to investigate recent abuse.

Your choices

Email sales@poolpointparts.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
