The Algae Brush, 5.5-Inch, Stainless Steel Bristle is an aftermarket replacement part built to replace the original component in Poolstyle skimmer and cleaning circuits. In service it is a direct-fit replacement component for the assembly it belongs to. This is a consumable in practice: normal wear, chemical exposure and pressure cycling eventually degrade it to the point of replacement. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
