Center Rod, 27-1/4-Inch for CFM180 and CFM240, Compatible with Val-Pak — an aftermarket tension rod dimensioned to drop into Val-Pak filtration systems without modification. In service it holds the internal filter assembly in compression so elements stay seated. This is a consumable in practice: threads corrode and the rod stretches, letting elements shift and bypass. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
