Sweep Elbow, 2.5-Inch, Slip, 90 Degree, SCH 40 PVC — an aftermarket union / fitting dimensioned to drop into Lasco equipment-pad plumbing without modification. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. It is a wear item: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
