This clamp is a compatible replacement for the Jandy original, supplied as the Pot Lid with Clamp Ring for JHP Series Pumps, Compatible with Jandy. In service it holds the two halves of the filter tank together against internal pressure. This is a consumable in practice: the band corrodes and the tensioning hardware seizes, which is a serious safety issue on a pressure vessel. Ours is made from stainless steel with reinforced hardware.
