Product overview
This union / fitting is a compatible replacement for the Zodiac original, supplied as the Twist-Lock Elbow, 45-Degree, Extended, for MX6 and MX8, Replacement for Zodiac. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. This is a consumable in practice: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
