Pump Union Kit, 2-1/2-Inch S x 3-Inch Spg, Replacement for Jandy 3.0-5.0 HP Pumps — an aftermarket union / fitting dimensioned to drop into Jandy circulation pumps without modification. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. It is a wear item: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
