The Diffuser, 3 HP Full Rate, Compatible with Jandy HHP Series Pumps is an aftermarket diffuser built to replace the original component in Jandy circulation pumps. In service it converts the velocity leaving the impeller into pressure and directs flow into the discharge. This is a consumable in practice: the sealing lip and locating tabs wear, letting water recirculate inside the pump instead of moving downstream. Ours is molded in reinforced thermoplastic.
