This gasket is a compatible replacement for the Teledyne Laars original, supplied as the Header Gasket Set, 18-Pack, Replacement for Teledyne Laars. In service it seals the joint between two housing faces and keeps the circuit pressure-tight. Replacement is routine: the material compresses permanently and loses its rebound, so the joint begins to weep under pressure. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
