Adjustable Union, 1-1/2-Inch MPT x 1-1/2-Inch Slip — an aftermarket union / fitting dimensioned to drop into Jacuzzi equipment-pad plumbing without modification. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. Replacement is routine: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
