The Check Valve, 2-Inch x 2-1/2-Inch, Compatible with Jandy is an aftermarket check valve built to replace the original component in Jandy equipment-pad plumbing. In service it allows flow in one direction only and prevents backflow into the pump or heater when the system stops. This is a consumable in practice: the flapper hinge fatigues and the seat wears, allowing reverse flow and loss of prime.
