This union / fitting is a compatible replacement for the Aqua-Flo original, supplied as the Pump Union, 2-Inch FBT x 2-Inch Slip for FMCP Pumps, Compatible with Aqua-Flo. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. It is a wear item: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
