Product overview
This spider gasket is a compatible replacement for the Pentair original, supplied as the Spider Gasket, 5-Spoke, 6-Inch OD, Replacement for Pentair. In service it seals the rotating valve key against the valve body so water is routed to only one port at a time. It is a wear item: the rubber compresses and takes a permanent set, letting water bypass between ports — the classic cause of a sand filter that leaks to waste. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber.
